HELP!! Repotting plants, think I just killed them

I just transplanted my month old marijuana plant that was about 8 inches tall and was in a 6 inch tall pot. I was high when I was doing it, and damaged a TON of the roots, they will all the way grown to the bottom of the pot and there will ripping left and right. I am extremely worried now, did I just kill the plant. I probably ripped half the plants roots. Is there anything I can do to help it or is it dead?

mj is a very life finding plant. Having said that, dont take it to seriously and screw up like that again. Dont do shit when your stoned bozo!!

Hopefully she will recover. Nurture that plant by providing perfect conditions (as best you can) and keep your fingers x'd.

so im fucked? It won't stand up on its own right now.

Probably not going to be too big of an issue but yes it could potentially kill the plant.

Back your lights off to half strength or so if you have lights strong enough to worry giving the plant three days or so to recover from the initial shock. (give or take depending on the previous health of the plant)

Just needs a little time to recouperate. Even if you are using cfl's or t5-ho's or just if your grow is hot at all, back off a bit in order to cut down on how much the plant has to sweat, since it can only take up half what it used to.

Then it'll be fine for sure...

Now you know that the only time to repot a plant is when it's rootbound enough to hold the roots together... High or not.

well, good news guys, when I woke up today the plant looked 100 times better than it did, it is standing up by itself again and the leaves are looking healthy and not dropping anymore. Really got me worried cause I only have two plants and it took me months to get those two seeds from a bag. And my other plant has also completely outgrown its pot but im afraid to transplant to another. Anyways, thx for the help and support and hopefully I can get around to taking a couple pictures of my two babies.
