Help putting together an LED/Notill Room, wanting to spend about 2500$

So I have a room in my basement I want to use to grow notill using LED. I was thinking I’d probably be able to handle two 5x5 fabric beds, if I was to use beds that is.

I mainly want some help deciding on the LEDs, and just basic grow room building because I Havnt gone this big before. I want it to be set up really nice, don’t want to cut corners but also not bleed money.

I’m thinking this will be a NO TENT grow, and just put something reflective on the walls. I will be introducing CO2 as well.

I’ve done a fair amount of reading regarding LEDs. I’ve read some say you can save money building your own, but at the same time you don’t get a warranty then if I’m not mistaken?

I will be quick to reply, and would love any help possible. I want to stick some cash into this and have a nice set up. I’m going to buy some nice genetics (been looking at Bodhi,) and really put effort into making this beautiful. Thank you.

I suggest a bigger budget if you aren't cutting corners
That is definitely doable. Genuinely curious, may I ask why you say that? I want to do this correctly and will buy whatever is necessary.

As I was saying, I’d like to build my own LED if that was the way to go. I know it would cost about 1800$ just to buy the lights, if I wanted two nice ones.

If you doing c02 you’ll need a sealed room.
So you’ll need to look into a decent AC unit, humidifier, dehumidifier and wall fans.
hopefully you own some of that stuff so it doesn’t eat your budget.

two prebuilt LED’s units for two 5X5 areas won’t be cheap, even if you went with a trusted Ali babba store like @bk78.
I’m not the guy to give DIY advise but lots of people can help you make a nice unit that will cover your space

I didn’t fully explain everything sorry, I already have some items on hand. Since were talking about LEDs though let’s roll with it.
Just at a glance on the HLG site, I see solid LEDs that use quantum’s that say they’ll cover 5x5 flower for 800$ each. Wouldn’t that work? They seem like solid LEDs, and that’s just a 60 second look.

It seems like a lot of people out their LEDs together themselves. I may need to look into that, just don’t want to screw anything up.

I can get wood cheap from my work if needed, I was thinking about buying two grassroots fabric beds but that’s not cheap. They do come with blumats though, I wonder if it would be cheaper to build my own bed. (This is exactly why I made this post, questions like this, thank you!!)

Lumber is expensive that’s nice you can get some at work to save money!
What kind of space do you have to work with?
I know you want two 5X5 spaces.
Will you make a 10X5 room and divide it in half? or make two 5X5 rooms?

it would probably be easier and cheaper to make a 5X10 and have all your ac/c02/humidity/temps controlled by less sensors and stuff.
If you get multiple rooms could be harder keeping both where you want them.

Well I have two rooms that I can use, they’re both right next to each other in the basement so it’s cooler down there. The rooms fortunately have cement floors too. The one room is like 15x10 and the other is like 10x20.

I’m open to whatever, genuinely trying to learn and do things proper. I don’t necessarily need (2) 5x5s, I just figured 5x5 would be perfect for me for flower. I could do a smaller space for veg and whatever for flower. I COULD spend more than 2500$, but I feel like I could get (2) quality LEDs for like 1600$ total. No?

Its nice to read about someone who's interested on spending the right amount of money for quality equipment. I feel the only people I see want to get a 1000W LED light for 150 bucks lol. I have a friend who runs the iL8x 670W light on his 5x5 setup here in LA and has very good yields. Ive also been seeing a lot on this HLG light. Looks pretty amazing just haven't seen enough reviews on it. Im also thinking of upgrading my setup so ill be around to see other lights suggestions
Ya I’m trying to get nice lights, I don’t see why it would cost more then 2k for example for two nice LEDs to have over 5x5s. Obviously I don’t know my stuff, but just at a glance I can see LEDs on HLG that look legit and only cost like 800$ and they cover a 5x5.

If that’s the case, and I truly wanted to stay below 2500$ I could spend 1700$ on lights and still have 800$ left for whatever
