HELP! Possible multiple plant problems. Diagnosis needed.

Hello, I'm in desperate need of help to identify and/or fix my plant problems.

My grow room is fitted with environmental control so I'm very sure my temps, humidity, and c02 are under control. Temps stay at 70-76, humidity never goes over 60. c02 was at 1500 ppm but I just dropped it down to 1300 ppm.

I'm using T5 lighting 4 foot with 6 tubes, 24/0 lighting. The light hangs about 9 inches above the canopy.

I'm using black gold with coco (water hold technology, my guess is this is my issue but please read on). The ph of the soil is at 7.

These plants came from my own clones. I took the cuttings when they were 2 weeks into flowering. I rooted the clones with an aeroponic cloner, rooting took 2 weeks. I let the roots grow for about another week in the aero container, just enough to get a good root system. I transplanted the roots into soil directly from the aeroponic cloner. The pictures below show the plants 2 weeks after I transplanted them.

In the cloner they received just plain ph adjusted water. After transplanting I gave them ph adjusted water and some b vitamins. After the first week I gave them a little nutrient mixture (1/4 strength) of advanced nutrients sensi grow A & B, voodoo juice, jump start, piranha, tarantula, F1, and B-52. This might seem like a lot but the PPM was at 300-350. After the soil was dry I watered with full strength cal mag however after 5 days they are still doing bad.

From checking forums, books, internet I'm guessing my soil is the problem. The soil I'm using has a coco additive. I'm thiking the soil is holding on to moisture for too long and causing problems. Plant growth has pretty much stopped for about a week. I took one plant out of the pot and chiseled away the soil. At the very top and very bottom of the soil cube (after pulling it out of the pot it looks like a cube) it's dry but the middle section is still moist and feels hard. If it is a soil problem what can I do?

I cannot find any picutres online that match what my plants look like and their symptoms. Please help. I really appreciate it!

Looks like you have some red color in the stems and branches of your plants. That is often an indicator of a lack of nutrients. They also look, like you said, over watered. If you can add some drainage to the pots they may drop off more unnecessary water. Try adding some more nitrogen but increase it slowly, it works quickly and should show signs of improvement fast. Good luck!

well first of all why are you using Co2 with floros...........don't care if their t5's or not kill it...............get yourself a 1000 watter or something if you want to use Co2.............temps with Co2 need to be around the low 90's........looks like your poisoning your plants with too much Co2..........Plant can't use it enough because of your week lights...............scrap the Co2 for a while till ya get a better light..........It's just like anything else.....if you get too much of it......it'll kill ya...................Plus you got to lower the ph down a bit to 6.8 or so..........i'd flush them and wait a day or so and then i'd go back to 1/2 strength..add some cal mag with it...........also they look like revegged clones............their gonna look a little ratty until they totally reveg........once your single leaf comes out..........then it's reverted back.............never give any kind of nutrient or micro when the soil is dry.........it'll burn the shit out of your roots..............

Hmm, it does sound like a soil sort of issue since it sounds like you're doing everything else right.

I would suggest too that if you're worried about his being a nute problem that you up your nutes just a bit. I saw that you were doing the lower dose, but maybe your growing medium and your strain need more.

Sometimes what you're describing can be a sign of P deficiency, so maybe it's time to add in some more nutes to see whether this perks em up.

One caveat - I'm not really a soil grower, so I might be just speculating. Seems to me though that spots are spots are spots, right? I mean, plants still react the same way to what they do and don't get.

try amping up the Advanced Nutrients schedule. See what happens. bongsmilie
