What nutes have you added to the soil ? If any flush the soil with clean water and let dry out. If you have not added anything to your soil check your PH "buy a PH meter for 25 dollars"

If I have helped you please add +rep

i havent added any nutes to it

How to make it better? Wow. Theres lots of stuff. The veryleast you can do i put the lights and plant in a grow box with tin foil to reflect the light and a fan to suck air in and another to exhaust air out.

Fuck that guy. You gotta start somewhere somehow. How old is it? It looks likes burned proly from the pre treated soil. I agree with the other guy flushing its proly best bet

Fuck you. Im right. He needs to make some mods if he wants to gett weed outta that.

yeah man people can be assholes on here but monterello is really just saving you time. invest in some decent lights, do a little more research, figure some things out and go at it again. the more you put into learning and doin this right the better your results ... you need to focus on a a lot brotha. get some mylar, or panda paper for reflective surfaces all around the plants. you need air being exhausted out and air being pushed in constantly, you need oscilating fans. (air circulation) you need to balance the ph levels around 6.5, you need to control the humidity, you need a good nute routine, a decent ballast for the lights.... a decent reflector hood .... its alright man but this isnt what growers initially think. its not ... throw some seeds in a pot of soil and boom, you grow high grade marijuana .... if u have any more questions just ask. ill be happy to share the little bit of knowledge i have.

fuck you all, and as much as you can!! (doctors recommend at least twice a week...), you are all correct, the yellowing is nute burn, but also the set up is not good and you won't get much a yield. re-plant in a nute-less soil, get some more lights and reflectors.

I am using expert gardeners potting soil and have added nothing to it bc it has nutes in it already...the plant is about 3 weeks old...goin to walmart now ..any suggestions on what I should buy?

IMO you should flush your soil and before you use it next time try activating it first and adding a good mix of perlite to keep it aerated. The setup you have now will be good for veg really and if you can you should try to look at a hps light for flower. A good 150w hps will get you started and make little more heat than equivalent wattage cfl if not less, I suggest one with a remote ballast if your area is small. Also you will need some ventilation so keep that in mind as well.

When you flush your soil make sure that it drains really well, if not you may want to try a transplant and "cut" your soil with about a 35 - 45% ratio of perlite. To me it looks like the soil your using is a little too hot with nutes, but you may also have a PH problem which can be corrected by collecting your runoff and testing it with a quality/calibrated PH pen. Remember you can adjust the PH of your water to adjust the PH as well. Good luck and happy growing.

Get some perlite and a fan for ventilation at least!
