get your lights closer, keep it going. when they get taller, and you transplant, you can deal with the initial stretch then by burying the stem up to or even over the cotyledons.

No! transplant it so the bottom leaves are a centimeter or 2 above the soil, problem solved. The stem will start pushing out roots. keep the lighting as close as possible and your good to go.

Looks fine imo.. Maybe a little stretched but dont put that light too close. I think you should just leave it for now and tend if it actually gets bad, from what I see it isnt THAT stretched.

Edit: Just reread the first part, 4 inches is some stretching lol, that picture just didn't look to bad to me.

No, it shouldnt. do you have your container they are in now completely filled?I didnt mean you have to do it right this second btw, i should of been clearer. starting over would be pointless, the new ones will stretch a few inches at least anyway. Since your using hps this little bit of stretching really doesnt matter. You do not need to start over. Like i said that would be pointless to do so.

You seem to want more of the same opinion. Listen to darkdestruction420 - solid advice. It will take you 5 minutes to transplant it and then it will be solved... Starting a new seed will take at least a week to get where you are now (if you don't make the same mistake and stretch it too)

ok thankyou will do that, replant and burry that stem a bit., and get the light a bit closer to it,, cheers guys!!
