Well I have 2 LUI clones (rooted) both under a 600w setup. Temp is right around 78-80. PH is at 5.8 and PPM is right around 260. This is all in a 16 gallon tub with 2 airstones at the bottom under each plant. We put them in last night and are running under 24hr light. We are going to use the Lucas Formula. Ill try and get some pics up to show you how the plants look but their really stressed now and droopy. I went to the local hydro store and got Jumpstart from Advanced Hydroponics, which is supposed to help with root grow, so I added that. How long should I wait til I add the Bloom and Micro in the water? Is this 600w going to be too much? Thanks guys

They're droopy cuz they aren't getting enough air and the nutes are only 260 ppm. Lucas formula is for sea of green with an inert medium. If you're going to be heavy veggin' you'll need to add more nitrogen.

600w is good for a 5' x 5' area; Sensi seeds says 600w is good for 2 square meters (6.5 feet square).

We didnt and any nutes yet just the JumpStart. Im confused. Should we start to add the Micro and Bloom? Or should we let the clones run with just the jumpstart? Also what should we run for the 600w light under the clones, 24hrs of light or something like 18/6? Thanks

They have roots, so it's time for nutes. Get the ppms around 600 and go from there. I do 18/6..... never used Jumpstart.

Ok so if the ppm right now is at 260.. how much micro and bloom should we add? Im hearing 1 ml/gallon micro, 2 bloom and reading 2.5 micro and 5 bloom.

You'll need to test it out on a separate container before adding back into the res. Start off weak and creep up on it.

PPM is at like 580ish.. is that okay? Will this start to help the plants out and show them some life?

how from should my 600w light be from them though? I dont wanna burn them and PPM is close to 600, but no signs of picking them up yet

Galaxy 600w electronic ballast, Sunmaster Cool Deluxe bulb, 19" cool tube with reflector, 6" active air blower sucking air from the top of the cabinet out thro the window, 18gallon tub with 2 6" net pots with LUI clones in each. The plants are soo droopy and are starting to turn yellow a little. Ill get up pics here. The temp in the cab is 80, water is 75*, pp, is 580 and PH is 5.8. BOth have roots hanging from the net pots, just no signs of progress yet. We are going to run the Lucas Formula and already added the Micro and Bloom nutes. These were transplanted in the tub at 2am wednesday morning/ tues nite. Thanks n Ill work on pics

I can only think of overwatering, I just dumped some water out. Water should be just hitting the bottom of the net pots correct and bubbling right under them? What are those yellow burns from on the leafs? Light stress? Thanks guys

You'll have to get a much larger air pump. If you can't do that, you should lower the water level even more so that only an inch or two of the roots are hanging into the nute solution. That will expose the rest of the system to more oxygen so it'll help a lot.

Keep the light about 2 feet away until the plants start growing vigorously; then get it down to about 18" (or closer), but only when they are healthy.

Get that much straight and the disease will turn to ease. ;-)
