Help plant dieing from top down

Can’t figure out why this keeps getting worse virginia only thing i know is we have had alot of rain this year started about three weeks ago more keeps dieing

Check your stocks for bore holes created by an insect. I don't know if you can stop this if you're stock is being consumed from inside.

Yeah that looks rough. I had a similar thing happen outdoors last summer up here in Minnesota. I ended up cutting off half the plant. I would get in there and cut off every branch that looks affected, since they're gonners anyway and check to see if you can figure out what critter is causing the damage, then burn everything you cut off. I never figured out what caused mine. But i know there are some little beetles that will bore into the stocks, and sometimes little larva living inside of the stocks. There are also a few species of wasps that will lay there eggs inside of a plant stock too. Sorry to see that. I hope you can get it figured out.
