Help outdoor marijuana buds smell strange!!!!!

Hey I am finishing a late cali harvest outdoors.. basically a friend of mine smoked cigarettes outdoors around my plant and i believe some of the smoke pasted over some of my buds just a few weeks from harvest like a few times because obviously you take a lot of hits when you smoke a cig.. Could that permanently effect the smell of the finished product? I've never grown this strain and it has a weird smell.. unlike straight og.. anyway does anyone have any experience with this?

Outdoor i doubt the cig smoke would damage the plants.
