Okay, so I'm a newb... and this is my first grow. What I wanted to do is to post here everything that I have and what I've done so far.. and hopefully some of you fine people that have been doing this for a while can tell me if everything looks fine. I'm going to try and put up some photos soon.

What I have:
Lights:
1000w HPS and Metal Halide Switchable ballast
1000w Metal Halide bulb
1000w HPS bulb

I'm using Jack's Classic 20-20-20 and Blossom booster during flowering.

I'm using Miracle Grow soil with 3 months of nutrients in the soil, and I've been mixing it with 20 % pearlite.

I have bioneem food safe insecticide should I need it

I have 15 5 gal containers

I have 23 smaller pots for clones

I have a large 4 oz rootech cloning gel

Rockwool cubes

A heater/fan to circulate air

Plus a whole multitude of other small stuff (soil ph meter, soil moisture meter, snips, ph up and down etc)

This is what I've done so far:

Germinated seedlings and planted in 5 gal containers about 2-3 weeks ago

Have had them on an 18/6 with the 1000w metal halide for veg. I've had the light about 18-24 inches away from the plants.

I'm using some pretty good bag seeds, and currently have 7 plants. The first two sprouts are about 4-5 inches already.

I water about every 2-3 days... and I let me tap water sit in a 2 gal. jug for the 2-3 days prior to me watering to get it room temperature and because the chlorine content is high.

The room has been at about 73-78 degrees depending on the time of day, the humidity has been low at about 30-40% but I plan to get a humidifier soon to solve that problem.

What I Need to know:

When do I start fertilizing being that I used the soil with 3 months of nutes in it?

What else, if anything, should I buy to make sure I have a succesful grow?

Will I need a micronutrient to supplement the Jack's classic? If so, what do you recommend?

What kind of yield should I expect from this setup the seeds being from some mids?

And I also welcome any other tips, tricks, remarks, comments, criticism, bashing, or otherwise that you've got for me. I appreciate it. :joint:

SAFO!

If I were you I wouldnt be using 20-20-20 for flowering. Thats fine for veg but you want something with less nitrogen for flowering.

thats not a newb setup so you have a head start on most people. sounds like your good to go. just watch the seedlings to make sure they don't burn in the mg.
