I need some advice and quick! I have got a heavy indica strain that is in the
beginning stages of bud rot. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from spreading
and maybe let it finish out at least just another week or so? I thought about mixing
a powerful solution of water, vegetable oil, baking soda, alcohol, peroxide, and neem.
i know I cant reverse the damage, but can I stop it until then? Anyone with firsthand
expirience??? Plz help... Plus rep for good answers!

I have never had to deal with it, but I read on here that someone just wiped it off. I would not spray anything on them as bud rot is due to moister already, I would just pick the infected buds off myself. But if it is affecting all of them, I would say you may be shit out of luck at this point.

Cut out as much of the rot as you can, and try to keep them as dry as possible....

I've heard of people spraying "this" or "that" to keep it at bay, but I wont spray my shit with anything other than water.

May be time to harvest early and salvage what ya can. Good luck deciding when to make that call :D

Serenade bacteria safe to spray till day of harvest it says, I still hose off any plant that it was used on. Hydrogen peroxide sprayed thoroughly daily will not only bubble away any spores or growing patches but will stave off further infection. gitting inside the buds where the infection is really rocking is tuff on almost done plants not to mention the roots of black mold can extend inches from the visible infection. my solution is usaully end of grow, trim out while lamenting the fates

Thanks guys alot for helping. One more question, I used some milk on them duluted with water about a week ago and it seemed to slow it down drastically. What about mixing water, milk, baking soda and peroxide? Is that too much or does any of those mixed react with each other? going tonight to clean up what I can with 91% alcohol and latex gloves and sterile tools.
