Help on Collecting and storing pollen for later use......Thanks

Trying to find some where on web to read up on storing pollen. Anyone know where or have done this yourself and would kindly share some knowledge on this because I have no clue on what I am doing......

1) How would you store it ....?.....in some dark kind of glass jar or just in a small zip lock baggie....?.....

2) Do you put in dark cabinet ? refrigerator ? freezer ?

3) How long will it stay good ?

Please, anyone out there to help me figure this out...........Thank you for any and all answers / comments / tips

Storing Pollen is an art, collect your pollen to a very dry jar,(warm in microwave) mix in 30% rice or flour, as it's the water or damp that kills it, store in fridge, or if in freezer use those gel packets, don't store the flowers as they are damp..stays good with practice up to a year, best way is to lean you budding male on a picture frame glass to 45 degrees, so pollen falls to glass, scrap off and store to jar every 12 hours, keep jar warm to reduce water vapor, paint flowers/buds with pollen use a artist brush but I prefer q-tip, or finger in a pinch, stay sharp not to pollinate other plants nearby, again remove damp and flowers from the pollen to store ....good luck "V"

Wow... Thanks Bro !!! When you said about leaning plant on the glass to collect every 12 hours...why? because your waiting for some of the sacks to mature...? And what do you think I need to use, a dark glass jar instead of a clear..what about those canning jars - or do you mean any tight fitting lid jar...? Sorry about all the questions, its just I don't want to mess up cause it took a few months to get it right. How I am waiting for my other to go into flowering so I can pollinate but I got a ways to go. Worried cause I read somewhere this guy said it will only last up to 3 weeks, but thats not true right? You're saying it could be good up to a year if done right.
One more last question and then I promise to shut up.... if I open the jar to take out enough to use and quickly close the lid up tightly....will it stay good or once its open, you got to use it all ????? and many thanks again..Peace

Idk if this helps but my cousins like to wait till a lot of the pollen flowers open then cut it down then flip it in a garbage bag and shake a lot into a corner, twist off a corner and voila a nice little pollen baggie

Also....they're not really worried about pollination cuz they don't like clones seed starts only...I'm guessing you want sensimilla, so this method probably won't be good for that
