Help needed, running out of time...

Ok, mid way through construction, waiting on seeds to germ atm.

This will be my first attempt at a grow and have a few questions..

dimension of he cab are 5.5 feet to the top but 4.7 to the bottom of the light at its maximum height x 4.2 x 1.9

I will be using 400 w MH for veg then 400 w HPS for flowering.. The reflector is sealed and aircooled via a Hydroponic computer fan, sealed with entry and exit holes seperate to air inside the cab.

Exaust consistist of 12" ducting with a 12" extractor fan blowing through a carbon filter and out the house and drawing air from under the house where i assume the coolest air will be.

Room will have an a/c unit in it when summer arrives.

I am intending on doing a scrog, and fimming the plants at least once afer there 4th or 5th node.

My question is, will the box become to hot for 2 to 3 5 galon buckets and how far can i keep the lights off the plants?

I had very similar growing condition and flowered with a 400w hps with no exhaust and little problems..The light at the end of flower was less than 12 in away from the buds some even went inside the hood..since your air cooled and have good ventilation you should be fine..

That's a relief.... how many plants did you have in your cab?? Im thinking two.... lst the heck out of them and get as many bud sites as possible then hit 12/12 and keep training for a week or two....Also, did you have a res? I don't think i wil have room for one so would it work if i got a pond pump to pump in my new batch inside an identical bucket..... visa versa?

Oh, and im deciding wether to grow 2 x G13 Haze OR 1 x Pot of Gold and 1 x Red Diesel, which would be best suited??

I had 4 lemon skunks on with a scrog...The plants set on a table about 2 feet off the ground, sat in 8in pots and the light hung about 1ft low..so i had about 2 feet to actually grow...I just realized how crammed I was..damn...
