Help!! My leaves are turning brown

My leaves are turning brown I switched my lights from 2 plant/ aquarium lights to 2 CFLs and now my leaves are turning brown I haven't done anything different but the lights any info would be great

No I have them about 1' away I I just put the cfl lights in yesterday the temp in my box is about 83

See how the bottom leaves are yellow an brown the top leaves are starting to turn yellow

how much are you watering? are you giving them nutes?

I water about every 3 days cause the soil I'm useing holds water. I have a meter that tells me the moistness of the dirt and lighting.. I put a little bit of miracle grow in my water i use to water the plant. i put half of what the box said for indoor plants

i usualy dont give my plant nutes until like 5-7 weeks in, if you do it too early it will kill them

Is that what's causing the plant to do that ? Is two CFLs good for 1 plant?

two cfls are good enough for it right now but wont be enough for very long, and yes if you are feeding it right now that might be the problem.

Yes. It should be about a third of the soil mix.

Ok thanks.. I'm haveing problems with heat in my grow box I have 2 CFLs in it the temp is around 90 any help?? Cheap ways under 30 dollars

A fan!
You need to try and get the temp around high 70's low 80's.

I have a fan but the temp only went down about 6 degrees any other tips?

Its all about airflow. Make sure your exhaust is in the top 10% of the box and the intake is in the lower 10%. Get an exhaust fan running 24/7 and you'll be clear of heat issues.
