help mr wizard, my water pump stopped running

my water pump stopped running!!!the plant was 5 weeks into flowering and i went to the beach for 2 days the water pump took a crap, when i returned all the big leave were dead. its been 2 weeks now and the plant is still alive but when it grows new leaves they turn brown and die quickly. the buds are rather dry to the touch and green and tan in color. any ideas on how to nurse my baby back to health? it seems like the plant is not pulling water up to the buds because everything is so dry. is was thinking about giving it a salt flush to see if that would help it. any help here would be wonderful? thx in advance. ratman
