So because of smell/limited space I am planning on moving my grow from a closet to the attic. I think I should be good tho, temps stay mid 80's and I have good ventilation so I can get fresh air in and out...Here is my question tho, how can I make like a little area and have it sectioned off for my plants. I dont have much money so I couldnt buy a grow tent but im thinking something similar. In all honesty is it even necesary for me to have something like this? I think it would be nice tho given the fact that the attic is a little dusty, i think it would protect the plants a little better. Any opinions would be appreciated..CHEERS

I would have some kind of tent considering the fiberglass insulation in attics, i would hate to see that shit all over my buds. And i am very sure you could make some kind of homemade tent out of a tarp, nails, staple gun, and a few 2by4's. And you might have to hook up propper electricity, and make sure its safe.

U know im also geting a little area in my attic set up for my veggies, i dont know about ur attic but mine has about 5in of dust covering evrything!!! I cleaned up a little space an im gona put 2 30-gallon rubbermaid totes (1 on top of tha other) since thers plenty of these grows on this website, but i hav a question for u, wer are you geting ur power from? all my attic has is a light blub which i plan on buying an adapter wich has 2 electricity sockets an a light bulb socket an going from there but im not sure if the adapter can stand a power strip connected to a bunch of cfls, fans, an more?

Today was the first time I went up there to check everything out, and luckily there is an outlet with 2 sockets built into the wall...I guess I was lucky

Hey check out my Journal! We build our set-up in the attic and mostly used the shit we had laying around the house! We have our flowering and veg up there!

heres the deal , go to your panel box, open it up and hopefully you have space for a seperate circuit. say 20 amp breaker (make sure you get the right kind, look at the other breakers, siemens, br , cutler hammer) and run 12-2 romex to the attic into a nail on box - place a gfi outlet there put a trim covering on it and you set. and hook up a kill-o-watt plug in meter ( i got one for sale) and hook a timer/powerstrip into that . that will keep you safe from tripping breakers/fire hazard.
