HELP! mold on curring buds

so i found out today that some of my buds in the jars are molding! what do i do. all i have done is dumped them out but what can i do about the mold. do i need to trash the moldy buds. i was just in there last night and there was no mold? i was sure the buds were dry enough to not mold.


PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP

i would hate to loose what little bit of harvest i have over some mold.

take em all outa jars to dry longer.

I would take theme out of the jars and let theme dry a little longer.i would throw the molded ones away.they will mold the whole crop very qiuckly.my first crop i did the same thing but i lost my whole crop the mold went ballistic.I hung them on a string in a box.and then pulled them and put them in jars,I openend the jar 2too3 times a day and it didnt matter once the mold start it goes off.i think the trick is too not have any budds touching each other,dry separately.takes up alot of room but they never got moldy

First off, do everything those two guys told you, especially the continued drying and separating the moldy buds. In fact, take them entirely out of the room, mold spores are excellent travellers.

I can give you one more piece of advise, even though this may not be my greatest advise. If the mold isn't excessive, you can salvage some of the buds if they are not saturated through and through with mold. If saturated fully, the real only option is the trashcan(the trashcan in the other room, as mold spores can travel)

If it's just a little mold, there are a few last ditch options. Not to long ago I helped a friend as he had this problem, so I brought my ozone generator to his flat and we exposed the moldy buds to an ozone shock in a box treatment. A one time shock treatment of ozone from an 03 generator will kill the mold, you can then maybe make horrible hash or use it for something one day when your out of weed, personally I wouldn't smoke it or eat it, but he did.

At least the mold was neutralized, although I bet his hash had a funny taste of inert dead mold to it
