Help!!! Metal cabinet

im wanting to turn this school locker into my own home-made SuperLocker but im wondering if i will be able to cut the vents needed. I dont have any power tools but i would be willin to buy almost whatever is needed. ( other than an O/A or plasma torch ... Im thinkin more along the lines of sheers or something. )

the locker is 16 gauge sheet metal. 15''w X 24''d X 72''H + 6'' legs. I need at least one 4'' circle cut on the back so i can install a carbon scrubber.

ANY help, ideas, criticisms, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also if anyone else has questions concerning DIY Metal Grow Boxes plz post

borrw a friends drill and use a 3" or 4" holesaw... should be fine

just make sure its bi - metal and you should be fine...

my next question is what carbon filter has the best reputation?? its really important that there is virtually no smell... ( Apartment ) lets hear what everybody thinks .. if your a fan of a particular product let me know why

quiet fan suggestions too! i plan on suspending them from bungie cords or something so there is no rattle

if you've never used a hole saw before make sure you go kinda slow, especially that big of one...it kinda hurts your wrist when the hole saw catches and the drill flips around on ya.

yes be careful with the holesaw...a broken wrist isnt fun... make sure u take it slow and dont apply too much pressure at first...

what type of lighting are you going with?

basicly at first it will just be a box for my aerogarden with a badass odor control system and some supplemental lighting.... eventually im hoping to have the perfect 1 -2 plant grow box...

if your really interested in keeping it small. 1 - 2 plants what i would do is split the locker in 1/2... bottom level for vegging and top level for Flowering...you could go cfls for veg and hps for flowering or you could go leds. depends on how much money your looking to spend and how complicated u wanna be ...
