And if you just fed them a few days should tell you if that helped.
V-ing up could be heat, low RH , magnesium def. yellow tips could be any of those any a bunch of others things too.

Ouch. I think you should start over. Sorry. You must have some very basic flaws in your soil and/or water and/or growing area. Read (if you have not) the GrowFAQ. What are you are using for soil? Is that perlite on top? it doesn't belong all over the top like that. That's not your problem, I'm just saying lol. Is it Miracle grow perlite? If it is THAT is a problem. Dont use Miracle grow ANYTHING. It can work if you know what your doing but if not its a nightmare. IF thats all you can get then use the MG Organic Choice. It's the lesser of evils. Do you have an accurate way to test PH? Because you can NOT grow weed without knowing and understanding PH. Start with the basics. What did you do to that thing? soil/water/lights etc....?

not trying to be mean...but dude did you plant a stem and this grew... how is the stem so big and the leafs so small>>> get some potting soil right away and transplant it in to a fresh pot or clean out that pot and reuse .....no nutes just water i think it will buff out i hope

Your composted soil is no good on its own. Maybe its way to rich and your plant got burned. Maybe it was too "green". Not good enough drainage. MJ likes an oxygen rich medium. As light and airy as possible. I use a mix of perlite, vermiculite, peat moss, with regular cheap potting soil, some lime, some epsom salt, some bloodmeal, bonemeal, etc. I'm still tweaking my formula.
here is a soil recipe i found. i dont expect you to be able to get all this per-say, but just to give you an idea of what is ideal.

1 Bale sunshine mix #2 or promix (3.8 cu ft)
8 cups Bone Meal - phosphorus source
4 cups Blood Meal - nitrogen source
1 1/3 cups Epsom salts - magnesium source
3-4 cups dolomite lime -calcium source & pH buffering
1 tsp fritted trace elements
4 cups kelp meal.
9kg (25 lbs) bag pure worm castings
I dont really like the choices at home depot. But if thats all i could get i would get the MG Organic choice. Put some of your perlite in it (as long as there is no fertilizer in the perlite). That will keep most MJ plants fairly happy through veg. Then find a high phosphorus fert for flower. PH does not stay constant throughout the course of a grow without a little help from the grower. Most folks use lime as do I. Fine dolomite lime. I got mine at the Depot. The most inexpensive PH tester that is accurate enough > http://cgi.ebay.com/Digital-Milwaukee-pH600-pH-Tester-Meter-Pocket-Pen-600_W0QQitemZ380124537302QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item58813021d6&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1205%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
The other thing is the water. Your tap water probably stinks. Literally and figuratively. Mine does. PH is 8.4 and it smells like a swimming pool. Let you tap water sit out AT LEAST 2 days for the chlorine to evaporate off. I use an airstone in the water to help this and its adds valuable oxygen too. the ferts i use (Fox Farm Grow big and FF big bloom)bring the PH down to 6.5. vinegar would do this too if i didn't add the ferts. You really need a good PH tester. test the water going in and the runoff coming out the bottom. your medium PH is in between the two.
Does that help at all??
