Hello people,

so I have a small secret jardin 2'x2'x4.5(?)'

I have set it up and am in veg but am wanting to make some changes:
-transplant from small cups
-should I go from small cups to one or two gallon???
-add a soundproof barrier

and the big one:

-change the ventilation system to make more room

I want to put the canfan/filter OUTSIDE the tent to allow more room for my ladies

1) please, one or two gallon from cups? what do you think?

2)how do I set up the can fan outside? any holes in this idea?:

filter at end,fan linked to it blowing into filter, 4" hose connected from fan to tent...

this is where I get confused... do I just have the 4" "hose" or whatever you call directly into tent? Do I need to worry about holding it in place or any special techniques or is it really as easy as I just described?

sorry i'm a bit retarded when it comes to ventilation

please confirm or dispute my plan

i go str8 from germinating/sprouting cup to full on 5gal buckets.....what matters in transplanting is the amout of stress you put on the root system during the move....size of the pot really dosent matter much......

[;;;;;]oooooooooo{====}oooo[x]ooooBlowing this way------>Into the floor vents of my house
^FILTER.. LIGHTS/ | | | \ ........^FAN...

o's represent my ducting vent's

this is how mine is set up and so far works great....i think this was what you were asking about right????......and i vent my hot air in my vents(heater/AC) on the floor of the rooom the tents in...and it kinda blows warm air all threw my house, which is kinda cool since its getting colder outside...thinking green here

Hey you didn't directly answer the question how I was hoping but I think you're fucking smart for putting it into the floor vents so +rep to you, never thought of that. Actually I don't have floor vents but will in the place I will move into next.

So the light option isn't a true option for me because thats not the kind of light system I have.

Its a tent within a small closet. I want to take the filter and fan out of the tent, which it is already in, and put it outside to create room. So maybe if you could clarify a couple things...

1) firstly, i heard it is better to go gradual increments ie from a small cup-->one litre-->5 litre or whatever.... is this correct? I think I will only veg 2-3 weeks more so maybe the 3-5 L is a better idea??
2) does this sound right?:

TENT---ducting vent----->>>---air this way-->>>>-------fan --------------filter --->-->-->
(soundproofing)
my question was do I just put the ducting vent directly into the hole in the tent as is? add a screen filter? any thing im missing basically?

also is it good to put ducting between filter or fan or does it even matter?

That way will work fine, you don't need anything on the end of the duct in the tent.......just make sure you position the duct at the top....smelly hot air is always rises....I go from 2 inch square pot ,to cup ,to 3/4 gallon pot, to 5-7 gallon pot depending on how long I veg....transferring from smaller to bigger pot is an old technique....I can't say I have done a side by side comparison so I am not 100% on what advantages of this method are......

I will up the rep of whoever can give me good advice re: what size to put my little girls in... they are definately ready to go, 1 or 2 gallon?
