Help me stop this before it gets worse!

I'm a little worried about the browning that's occurring at the tips of the leaves:?. The nutes in the Scott's potting soil I used might be too strong at this point - should I flush? On the other hand, I haven't given her any outside nutes yet and it's day 11 - maybe a nitrogen def? I don't want the good upper leaves to end up like the bottom two (first pic). Any help you guys can give would be great!

Can overwatering cause that kind of browning on the tips? I've been watering every other day, occasionally more because it seems like the soil dries out quick. Also, I'm using distilled water (pH 7) so should I add white vinegar or lemon juice to lower that a bit?

It's much easier to overwater than underwater them... if you're ever in doubt, don't water... lol... or just go buy a moisture meter... =) takes the guess work out...

Thanks. Seems I'm definitely gonna have to get out to the store and pick up a moisture/pH meter. Home Depot didn't have one when I was there yesterday. Guess I have to try Lowe's.:wall:

Those look like some very healthy plants; they aren't really in any danger. You can use vinegar or lemon juice to lower your pH but you need a meter (and buffer solution) to tell what pH it is - very important since a little goes a long way.

That is probably the most relevant advice I've gotten so far . It's a little further away, but probably worth it in the long run.

Okay so I think I'm gonna leaver her alone today and tomorrow to dry out the soil and see if that helps. If it persists then I'll give her a big flush on Friday and make sure I don't overwater afterwards.
