Help me make up my mind, please

I'm a VERY picky smoker. I don't mean to sound like a bag snob, but I kinda am. I'm about to harvest, so I need new strains. Money isn't an issue. What I have so far is a strain called EmDog by HSO. This is not a thread for everyone to start bashing HSO or any seed company for that matter (I've already done my research). I just need help picking out one or two more strains because it's hard making up your mind sometimes:eyesmoke: ... I'm sure you feel me.

Here's what I'm having trouble with:
I need two things wrapped in one.
1.) I love the classics! I wanna bring the classics back, so it has to be just that. The real OGs (crippie), Bubbas, Kushes, Sours, etc.

2.) The potency has to be there. I've been smoking on a lot of Widow/Widow crosses, but I want something stronger than the average strain. Something that's gonna knock me on my ass.

Bonuses: Bag appeal, smell, extra high yields.
 
Ive come to love barneys farm lsd....just got a seed veggin her now ....high yield,good potency and fast flowering 8 weeks I run 10 usually on all my stuff

Dannoo93, I've heard a lot about this strain. I might throw one or two in simply for the potency. I'm just wondering how well it'll fit in with my original OG x Chem cuts, ya know?
 
I'm looking at Soma Seeds Lavender right now. I feel like it's been around a while...heard some good things too.
 
Thanks for the input bro. I know Dr. Greenthumb has the mantuska cut of that... Any opinions on OG Kush...as far as real cuts
 
ATF/MTF is -extremely- difficult to find in clone alone, and seed.. good luck with that one. That said, if you're going indoors - you have a ton of options, if you're looking for something to put outside that will tend to blend in, you may want to go with Duckfoot or a Duckfoot cross given the leaf structure. OG Fire Alien doesn't seem to disappoint, Super Lemon Haze is another that I could recommend - assuming you're into those.

True MTF? I'd have to see the genetics in a lab before I bought it, as there's many that are watered down or have odd phenos popping that claim to be legitimate.
 
Figong, I feel you. Hard to believe a lot of genetics these days. I'm not really the haze type though. I'm really trying to bring some old school strains into my indoor room without going the haze route. I'm feeling this lavender for some reason, OG #18 from DNA Genetics/RP, and the EmDog. Any input?

If you're into the sour-ish taste of the Chemdawg with OG-Chem intensity, it could be the one for you... have not grown it, but have seen those that have from RP, and you'll get tight nuggets with shitloads of trichs assuming you grow it per recommendation and don't try to improve upon it. I'm assuming it's S1 and you don't have any special w/it?
 
Alternatively, you could fish some 83' columbian gold seeds out and bring the oldschool back! :D

I don't have any special with it. But the problem is my EmDog is an Original OG cut (the original "crippie" cut from Florida around the mid-90s I believe) and I feel like this OG #18 is just gonna be put to shame by the EmDog.

The EmDog vs RP is going to be close - you have to remember the strides made in genetics and equipment during that time. I'm going to call that a draw, unless you're running your grow room specific to 1 strain/set of strains, and you're doing massive temp changes between night and day.. something that more than a few wouldn't do / risk. I'd be interested in seeing a side-by-side as well, if you have the time and are willing to do so!

There's more than a few that have a good supply of 83' columbian gold seeds that are on the forums.. and I know 1 personally who is quite active as well. One may be able to talk to him, given timing. :P

If only I could get my hands on some of those. For now I guess The Attitude will have to do...
