Going to be doing a 4 X 8 space (for flower). Currently i do a 4 X 4 space and have one 600w and have pretty good results. Should i do:

1. 2 600w
2. 3 600w
3. 2 1000w

Those are the 3 options I am considering. Will three 600's be a lot less electrical than 2 1000w since they are more efficient? Is there other options i should consider? Light movers? thanks guys and gals

I would do the 2-600's. As they say more is beter. The 600's are the best light output for the power used the 1000's have more lumus, heat and power cost. with two light going of any size you'll be dealing with alot of heat.

lol I got the same size room and run one 400 with a few cfl's would love the 600's but just 2 the 400 would go to the veg room.

I use 3x3 trays.. and I love my 600s...

But if I was using 4x4 trays.. I would go with 1K...

I actually vote for 1x 600w per 3x3 area... I prefer 600s to 1Ks by far...

Opinions based on experience... journals in sig..

im in the same size room and have a 1000.. im gonna get a light rail.. less hydro and to go get 2 600 would be too pricey seein as i already have the 1000... 2 600's would be ur best option if u have the $$$ to invest and good circulation for heat issues

I am not worried about $ or heat. I am going to have great venting etc. I just want to maximize my light, and worry only about electric bill prices getting to high. 2 600's would be good im sure, but maybe i can do 3 600's and get a lot more in that area. Things will probably fatten up a lot is what im thinking with the extra 600 (all while being more efficient and a couple hundred watts cheaper to run.)
