help lighting question

I was wondering if it is wise to bring in vegging plants into the room where I have flowering plants? The reason I ask is because i have vegs under some cfls due to budget and room, and have flowering under 600w hps. I was thinking of moving babies under my hps and then back under cfl's during off cycle. Any thoughts anyone?

You could do that, but you'll have some stretching, unless you can bring your younger plants up to the canopy level of your older plants.

That is kind of what I thought but you don't want to atke chances with your herbs if you know what I mean
