I just saw my plants roots come out the bottom of the cup I put it in, so I transferd the plant to a bucket and I didn't have enough dirt to full up the bucket so my question is how long could I leave my plant like this ? . And what gallon size pot should I get for what weeks

I do 1 cup. 1,2,5 gallon. There was no rush. Even after roots peek out of solo cup, you could have left it another week. It will just make more roots

Do you have holes drilled in the bottom of the bucket? If you want to leave it in that bucket I would consider using a disk grinder with a cutting disk to cut the extra plastic off. It will help keep stagnant air from sitting around your plant and improve growth

I might transfer it to 2 gallon maybe, before it gets to comfortable in its spot right now.
