Help I'm in Need of am Opinion- Please Offer Suggestions

I have joined my son with this project and we are both 1st time growers. My situation is we have a plant in her 5th week of flowering, the strain is unknown cuz it was a bag seed. She is doing real well and she have buds all over the place. My thing is its real 'leafy' and while the top buds are growing nicely and filing out the buds within the plant arnt doing as well. My question is should some of the big leaves be trimmed alittle or do it look alright as it is?

How big are your plants? What kind of light do you have? and how far is your light from your plants?

Gently bend the fan leaves back out of the way like 2 or 3 hours after watering/feeding. This is when they will be most malleable, or "bendy". You can even pinch(not break) the stem of the leaf where you want a permanent bend in it, and it will keep using the fan leaf as normal. Way better than cutting them.

thank you for the suggestions. I'm not quite sure what lights were using. It's my son's set-up I do know that the lights were about a foot from the plants and the grow room is rather small its about 10ftx8ft and the plants are on the flora gro series diet. Yesterday he had to reposition the lights because one of the plants-Afghan kush- was growing taller than where the light was positioned.
