Help identify please. Systemic fungus maybe.

My plants are in plain old field soil. I don't flush anything. I used gypsum, oyster shell flour, Cal-Phos, fish bone meal for the macros and the sulfate forms of the zinc, manganese and copper. I used Borax for boron, sodium molybdate for molybdenum and sodium selenite and sodium selenate for selenium. I have specific mineral ratios I aim for and I usually hit my ratios right on the head. Air temperatures have been between the 60's and 80's. Temperatures here on Maui don't change much throughout the year.

But actually I forgot to mention this started before they were in the greenhouse. They were in pots in amended Pro-mix when they got it. Thanks for the input!
I think you're on the money then!!
The promix could have been sitting in a damp warehouse. Before you bought it.
Id still check for calcium lockout though. Gypsum only gave me problems in coir. Promix's cation exchange capacity wouldnt be much different.
Good luck man.
Safe landing.

When you said 'if you can look at the purple stuff it looks like a fungus' that's when I recalled that picture, it could be blight too, but either way I think you already know it's not good

I had some marginal success against septoria spraying a diluted baking soda mix, I've never used a fungicide but the book I quoted recommends their use, somebody already mentioned a sulfur burner, I don't know if that's practical depending how big your grow is but I've used one with good results, have a great flight:peace:

Anybody know what this is? I scoped it and didn't see any bugs. A couoco other growers I know had the same thing and they believed it was a systemic fungus. It does look like it could be a fungus looking at the leaves closely. And it's spread to some of my other plants too. It seems to attack the new leaf shoots.

I can take some more pictures later if helpful

I can tell you what this is.

It is the most scrag shit I have ever seen!

Maybe you would learn to grow better if you were not harassing everyone on other threads.

Right now you garden is not looking too hot.

This guy got banned for being a sock puppet.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that was a phytoplasma infection on those plants. They still got big, but the infection messed with some of the bud development

Did you have any branch die off on the flowering plants? The last time I had a plant with bad symptoms like this, the branches eventually wilted off until the whole plant died about halfway thru flower.

I've had a few plants since then show a very minor amount of purpling on the new growth, followed by slight distortion of the leaves when they grow out but it was only one or two leaves and the plant finished fine. I do have bunchy top virus on some of the bananas in my yard and I have ti leaves growing next to it that I think have gotten infected because the foliage is super bunched up like the bananas.

I haven't had any branch die off. I believe Regalia has been keeping them alive, since I know a lot of Growers say Purple Death has killed their plants part way through flowering.

The plants have been growing fine for the most part. Just just some of the lower Bud sites aren't developing. I'll put up some pictures tomorrow if I get a chance.

I'm hoping the Clones will grow out of this. I doubt they will though which is too bad because I think I'm going to have to get rid of all the plants that have it and one half to two-thirds of my strains got it now. From what I've read phytoplasma infection is incurable.

And I'm pretty positive it's a phytoplasma infection. One of the reasons being is that it was spreading among my outside plants where there are bugs, but it was not spreading in my vegroom where there are no bugs even though some of the plants in there had this disease. So it's not an Airborne fungal disease and it's not a soil disease so the only thing left is that it is spread by sap sucking insects and phytoplasma infection is spread by sap sucking insects

Fuck.
That's a tough break man. Sorry.

What do you believe the solution is?
Does it require brand new beds?

Thanks for your consolation!

The only real solution is to get rid of all the plants that have it so it doesn't spread to the other plants. And as far as not having it come back anymore there isn't a real solution to it. Fortunately it's not super common for insects to carry it here, but it pops up once in awhile. I've never got it before and I know several other Growers that have only had it one time. The other Growers had to get rid of all their plants and start over with new genetics to get rid of it

@waterproof808 a violence threatening snitch at that.

I don't have time to do it today but I'm going to light his company up on Instagram.

The only real downside about talking about this is that he is going to pop up with another sock puppet and he is so freaking annoying it's amazing. Virtually miraculous in fact

When you gonna post a pic? Or are you too busy making fake profiles and writing rip-off report rebuttals?
He got banned for being a Pua Mana sock puppet and unpaid advertising.

Did you catch the end of the thread where I caught him saying that his cousin was a cop for MPD when he originally said that it was his uncle that was a cop for MPD? So ridiculous. Besides other ridiculous things like finding out my IP address within 4 minutes and running a background check on me in another 6 minutes. So full of kukae, so full.

Not only has this purpling phytoplasma hit cannabis but now witches broom phytoplasma (seen in industrial hemp) is hitting now too. The most common vector appears to be hoppers

It's been pretty common in Hawaii for awhile. After I got it I asked a bunch of other growers if their plants ever got it and several said they had dealt with it before. The first thread I found on it was made by a grower on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Full sun and lots of root space plus extra calcium seem to help and it gets to be less noticeable in with each generation of clones.
