germinated paper towel.
moved to rapid rooters after 1in root
used rapid rooter tray filled to 1/4 inch. (mistake)
realized the rapid rooters where staying completely soak
removed all water from tray. inspected roots. didn't look good.
squeezed ton of water out of rapid rooters.
replaced in tray. moisten from top if they feel dry with spray bottle.
is it to late to save an over dampen seed?
also should they get light?

Crappy pics but looks OK. Hope you have lots of light on it so it can grow properly without stretching too much.

I have one of those scopes too but rigged it to mount on my tripod. My hands are only steady in the morning before my first pot of coffee. :)

As long as the roots are white you should be good. I usually just shake my seeds in a pill jar lined with 150 grit sandpaper to scuff them up then plant directly into the medium they will grow in. Or those 9-hole seed starter pots filled with soilless promix if going into DWC. Lately I've been using the old paper towel in a baggie trick after scuffing and getting great germination tho the seeds are fresh so expect that anyways. I do have some 10+ year old seeds that might need some help so bought some gibberellic acid today at the garden centre up the road a ways.

Good luck!

you may have drowned the seeds but still try to save them. soaking seeds for more than 12 hours is a mistake, they drown. when put in paper towel or toilet paper give em a little bit of air space but keep an eye on the wetness of the paper, too wet they drown too dry they die. If the dont grow within a few days they are worth throwing in the bin imo as they will be runts anyway if they survive.

i didn't soak them for 12 hrs. I never have a problem with germination process. those all died because I over dampened them. It's been a while 2013 my first hydro grow was successful indoor Chronic. in a 6ft locker grow cabinet. I currently germ'd 4 Wht Tahoes. paper towel to solo cup, fox farm - perlite. they are all 1 inch with 4 true leaves. now my problem is picking a medium to go with back to hydro. any suggestions. I have the following to work with. its going into net pot bubbler first then to net pot top watering when they get to nutrient stage. 1.jpg2.jpgIMG_9840.jpg Please I am open to constructive criticism. my first hydro I can't remember if I used rockwool with hydroton on top or straight hydroton. been to long. thank you for the responses.
