this is my formerly beautiful outdoor hydro lady ive had vegging outside for about 3 months now.
i had to go away for a few days so i mixed her a fresh batch of nutes for the DWC system she calls home. i didnt have any distilled water which i usually give her on hand, so i had to use tap water and i must have been toasted when i did it because i forgot to adjust the nute quantities for the different water, i left to go away thinking shed be fine without me.
i got back about two days ago and these are photos from today.
as soon as i got back i flushed out the reservior and put in distilled water and no nutes. i think that was the right thing to do...
the yellowing started with the bottom large leaves that come of the main stem at the nodes. the yellowing went up the plant only really affecting these leaves at first, but most of them went completely yellow and died so i cut them off. the new growth seems to be only slightly affected at the major top colas though and remains nice and green besides a little burning around the outside edges. some other small leaves on lower shoots went yellow too.
it has been a little over 2 days in distilled water and its still hard to tell if the problem has completely stopped yet. fingers crossed
how does it look?, will she be alright without these large leaves? (they were the size of an outstretched hand). ph of straight distilled water is around 6.7. dont have a ppm, but using measurement off the nute bottle was working great before and i didnt ever have a problem like this...
any advice greatly appreciated
cheers
