Hi everyone. Been growing soil successfully for about a year now and decided to change over to hydro and give it a try. This is my first hydro grow. The cuttings are about 3 weeks old, in veg, and things are not going well. I've attached pictures of what my plants currently look like. Below is all the details of how I am growing. Hope someone is able to help!

I am growing from clones.
Plants are about 3 weeks from clone and in veg.
I am using Ebb and Flo Hydro system (20 minute feedings 3 times a day)
Currently Feeding Fox Farm Hydroponics grow big and big bloom.
PH is checked daily and kept at 5.5 - 5.8
Nutrient Solution is about 550 ppm
Temp of reservoir is kept at 70 degrees F
Temp of grow room is 78 degrees F, 60% humidity.

well, i think you could definitely water for a lesser amount of time. I water for about 6 minutes, mind you, I use gro-dan cubes as a medium covered in hydro rocks.

That really looks light look heat stress man, is that temp reading taken at the tip of the plant?

Hi Well here's another take on things...I grow in hydroton too, it drains & dries really quickly. I top water (drip irrigation) 6 times a day for 20 minutes a wack and never have unhappy plants. That looks like heat stress to me too. Roots are drying so leaf tips are drying out too, starting with bottom leaves..., try flooding more often and see if new growth doesn't look better. Change nutrient solution 1x a week for best results. NOTE though that I use less than the recommended Grow big, Tiger bloom and Big Bloom. Seems like the plants like it a bit watered down for frequent feedings, less salt build up & burning, less fuss. For veg I use 4 tsp grow big & 1 tsp Big bloom in 4 gallons H2O; for Flowering I use 4 tsp Tiger Bloom, 1 tsp Big bloom and 1 tsp grow big in 4 gallons of H2O. I fill a 20gallon Coleman cooler with the flower mix. I add Grow big to the flower mix for better leaf development and less yellowing. Healthy leaves = healthy buds My TDS/ppm are usually around 700ppm plus when fresh.
What is the volume of your reservoir? Bigger is better is that department. Slower changes in ppm and pH. I have more wiggle room.
