HELP How do i Top a plant??

so yes i am a newbie at this growing thing but i would like to know exactly how do you top your plant to get it to grow bushy.... please i know its simple i just want to be positive before i go scissor crazy.... thanks for your help
 
It is too late to be topping your plants. They should be very close to flowering, if they haven't started yet. Just let them do their thing.

gr8 info with actual pictures..I usually top rather than fim..btw have you fimmed in early flowering stages b4 with little stress to the plant. I suppose it would work because you can lollipop a plant in the flower stage without causing too much stress.
 
i couldnt tell you from experience but from what i understand you never want to top or fim in flower... and you should never put it into flower right after you top always wait a couple weeks
