I actually know this answer! No, you cannot delete your account. Once you sign up it belongs to RIU.

I don't see why not. You have to go back and edit all of your posts and then you will see a delete button. You only have 18, so it would not be a hard thing to do. But, I know you cannot delete your account.

Yeah, but when you edit you see a delete button....I have deleted posts before. I don't know if they will allow him to delete all his posts, but, there is a button to delete your posts.

Once a post is made on this site you can only edit what the general membership see's,the moderators,admin,site owner & anybody else who has the control panel can still see everything that was wrote on an edited or deleted post,simply editing what the mebmbership see's will not erase the content from the server.

So I guess when you delete a mod will see what you have deleted and they make the final call on whether or not it will be viewed by the general population out here? That would make sense. The few times I had to delete I know it asked me why I was deleting...it was usually because of my stupidity of posting personal info about myself, D'oh.....But I never saw my posts again. I guess they are on the server with the other million/billion posts.

Rest assure you will not get busted here. Local 5/0 don't know how to use the computer and the DEA will not spend the cash for a few home growers.
On another note, it does blow that you can't delete an account. I've set up forums and such with account deletion. Although it does prove to be a bit of a hassle, it has it's up's. I like it here though. Great forum! If you don't wanna post, just let it die out and we will surely forget about it.

Im not sure exactly how it works,im just going by what ive heard moderators say to people,ive heard the mods say that all mods can still read deleted posts as well as edited posts,im not real hip on computers,i can surf the shit out of the intrenet for fun but other than surfing im clueless about computers or moderator control panels but it does seem like its reasonable that they are able to see the deletions & edits.
