6 inch clone seems to not be doing well. the leaves are droopy and wilting. Ive read a bunch of post and think im doing everything right.18/6 light cycle. 1/4 strength nutes and root promoter. i'm waiting till its completely dry before re watering. but the plant isnt growing and doesnt seem to be in good heath. What should my next step be. I can try to get pics up in the morning if that would help. The guy who gave me the clone says its 6 weeks old but from what i see on here it doesnt look that big i see alot of pics on here that are much larer plants than what mine is and its upsetting. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly apprecieated. If theres anyone who knows what there doing wouldnt mind sharing there number so we could call and tak me through this i would greatly apprecieate it. I've got a bunch of money wrapped up into lights fans ferts. and everything else that goies with starting out and i cant even get a simple plant to grow. Not to mention i just spent 130 bucks on seeds from advanced that should be here in 2 or 3 weeks im assuming. i would like to have this shit figured out by then at least. Not that i expect to be a season pro by then just taht i wouldlike to be able to keep a simple weed alive. I mean hell they grow rampid in my lawn but under what is suupposed to be perfect growing conditions there looking like shit.

Please help. getting discuraged here. HMB....

ok well i pulled the plant out of the pot it came in from a friend of mine and replanted in a soft pot that i had put freash soil in it (advanced rain forest blend). Been wateering it with pure water with no nutes or grow formula and now it seems to be doing a little better. I bought a case of bottled water 16.9 ounces per bottle and gave it one bottle yesterday and gave it another one this morning cause it still felt light (the pot did) and checked it with my finger and still felt totally dry. So today it seems to be doing better and not so wilted. hopefully it was over watered or over nuted. So with a freash pot of soil and pure water its doing better but still seems to be undersized from what i would figure a plant thats 6 weeks old as a clone. It has many branches and leaves, at least whats left after my cat helped him self with a little snack. Dam cat. But it seems to be doing better and hopefully its on the road to recovery. Ill keep everyone posted as it progresses.

Still looking for much advise if anyone would like to help me out.

Everyone loves pics but these are kinda sad. Please if anyone has any advise or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Really dont know whats wrong but im definately trying to get it right. Ive got seeds coming and would like to have this grow in flowering so to free up space for germinating and vegging once my seeds come in.

Guessing under developed roots from too wet. Should recover but recovery takes time.

I have some great white premium root promoter. would adding that to my bi weekly watering help or hurt in this situation. I try to wait till its as light as it was when i repotted it. The soil it was in was very wet when repoting it and seemed saturated. I've been misting the leafs minimumly to stop the plant from drying out while allowing the roots to recooperate. It seems on the road to recovery. Besides time what can i do to speed things up. Thanks for chiming in.

Yea i got the 1 ounce bottle and it was like 18 bucks. So i've been watering with bottles of water 16.9 ounces per bottle. So just put a little in the next feeding and stop or should i keep using it with each feeding. Also I was told that if I water around the out side edges of the pot and not on the plant it would promote root growth out becasue thats where the water is. Is this true or just some one not knowing what there talking about. Any tips or tricks would be great. And thank you again for taking time to help me out. I'm truely a bigginer and need all the help I can get.

from what i've learned, your water maybe an issue i was told not to use bottled water because you have to add supilments that are taken out, just like a brita filter. First PH whats it at? between 5-6 i wouldn't try pushing 6.5 cause obv. you'll have less give. next if that doesn't help within say two days CAL-MAG. you have to be watching them over and over if your watching closely you should be able to notivce change. After room temp again i have been told that anything over 75 is too hot. your light is it too close to your plant? stick your hand under and feel on your own skin. it better feel nice, not hot! you are trying to simulate an enviroment the closer you get to the specs the healthier and happier everything will be. saying all that i would wait till your soil is dry as well. finally YOUTUBE growing videos they help!

I was unaware that bottled water could be bad I will check the PH in the bottles water im using asap. As far as temps go its been good usually between 74 and 82. Pretty sure that is still safe maybe not optimum but still safe. I mean some people grow outside and dow here in florida it reaches 95* and it still grows well. But i have been keeping an eye on that and trying not to let it get above 80. The light should be fine there are T-5 24 watt HO florecents and they run pretty cool Its a 2 foot 4 bulb fixture and it has 2 switches so i can run either the inner 2 bulbs the outer 2 bulbs or all 4 at one time. I've placed my hand between the lights and the plant and its never hot. Not to mention theres about 5 inches gap between the bulbs and the plant top and i have a mini 6" fan in the cabinet circulating air in there. If it gets to 80 i open the cabinet which should help with CO2 as well.

Thanks for the input i will definatly be checking my PH when i get off here and make sure its not the water as the problem. I have a clean bucket outside to catch the rain (next time it rains) I've herd thats good as well. once it rains ill be filtering it as well with a paper towel then will check the PH in it and see if thats better than what i have now.

once again thanks alot and ill keep everyone posted if i see any progress.

Ok so i just checked the water and the PH was at 6. I dont have a digital meter its coming soon just for now the color chart said it was yellow which is a 6.

Plant still seems to be droopy and sick. good color and no mites or spots just wilted and droopy.

The 2 nutes i have now are Canna Terra Vega and Great White root promoter.

Another suggestion that was mentioned was Cal Mag. According to the guy at the grow store Canna Terra Vega has Cal Mag in it.

Is it not enough or should i go pick up some straight Cal Mag.

Also the 3 numbers on a bag of fertilizer is nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P) and potassium (K).

At week 6 of a clones life which one would be the most benificial to my plants growth and recovery. Is there something i can mix into pure water to give this plant its best shot at recovery. Either one of the 2 I already have or is there something else I could use.

PLEASE HELP I REALLY NEED TO GET THIS THING GOING I WAS HOPING TO GET A FEW CLONES OFF OF IT BUT RIGHT NOW JUST TO KEE IT ALIVE WOULD BE GREAT.

from what i read your lights are no good for growing 24W? per bulb??? your light should be a 400Hps for flowering in that space. i believe your using regular room lighting which would be ok for veg. distilled water has less than what is needed for your plant to survive, from what i'm told. rain water should be perfect! when leaves droop it means she's not eating right or the right stuff. pot looks moist.... if its sitting soaked like that, that's bad too no air. you may want to take a little out off the top and fill it back lightly with dry dirt if you have extra. being very careful not to disturb roots!!! besides that someone more expeirenced should give you a hand this is the extent of my knowlegde. i just figure replicate enviroment as best as possible again ive herd good things about rain water!
Happy Growing!

dont water again until pot is almost as light as a dry 1. when u water til you get a good amount of runoff. if not u will start running into more problems. the t5 is fine for now. l

I'm in the VEG cycle still doing 18/6 from what ive read these lights are perfect for this phase. My cabinet is limited on space so the veg/clone dome lights are going to be close to the plants, which is why i went with T5 florecents. A metal halide fixture and bulb would have to be lifted way to high to not burn the plants and i just dont have the room for that. Actually i could do it now cause I have no other plants up above cause this was suppose to be my mother plant for clones. Right now just hope she survives. (I've got seeds coming though so if she dies its still a learning experience). Once i get plants in flowering and veg at the same time I'm going to have to run these to keep the temps down and not to burn the leaves of the clones seedlings.

still waiting on it to rain here. Shit never shows up when you need it.

This is the fixture I have...

UltraGROW UG-T5/24 - Fluorescent Light Fixture for Grow Lights - 4 Lamp - F24T5 - 120 Volt

These are the bulbs im running..

Ok so I failed neither the link or the pic work but im sure there the right equipment to use in my situation.

Im going to pick up somemore pots tomorrow and ill fill one with fresh dry soil (using the same pot and soil) then weigh it and then weigh mine so ill have an exact referance. Thanks for the advice.

Well here is where we are now guess its just a lost point now. Dont think shes gonna recover from this one. If any one has any suggestions right now it would be great. Of course i woudnt be able to do anything till i get home from work. At this point thinking of just flooding it to rinse all the soil and sticking it out side on the next warm day and see what happens. Pot fills slightly wet but not to heavy. basicly damp but not saturated. havent given her any nutes since repoting Ph'ed the bottle water and it was at 6 so thats good. temps are between 72 and 78. humidity is above 40, running a 18/6 light schedule. Have a fan in the box and door is usually open so CO2 should be good have no way to check it.

leafs fill dry and crackly almost brittle but when i bend them they dont break. any ideas.
Could it be the fan drying out the leaves?

Also my light has a mirror like relector. Its not flat but u-shaped over each bulb could that be an issue?
WTF just not sure what to do now...
