hi guys

is this a male plant.. it is an og #18 from riserva privada from seed iv noticed what looks like balls but im not sure

I dont think it is balls. That looks like the calayx at the joint that pops hairs out most times but not all times. Balls will be clusters like grapes. I think you are fine.

if they are not balls I may have thrown out a rather large plant a few weeks ago

Hermaphrodite, first picture almost the middle opposing the male flower on the opposite side. Male flower with a pistil. Now how do you feel about seeds? There's no reason to trash if you don't mind seeds. You can also put herm in isolation. So there's that option too. Just move it to another room.

I think you threw out a good plant. I see those at the joints on certain strains all the time. Sometimes hairs pop out of them sometimes they do not. Hard to really tell from a picture though which is why I will stick with "I think".

So some strains have calyx's that look like balls? That's strange. (I'm not being smart, I actually wouldn't know)
