I just had a great cycle of Dina Fem Purple Afghan Kush.

I got 4 lbs thinking I was hot shitand baught some fluence 2is and redid my flower room for another round of Purple Afghans I had backed upand ready to go in for a short turnover time.

plants were healthy and green with green flexible stems in there 1 gallons. & stayed under 2 600 watt metal halides in the adjacent room in a 4x8 tent.

these plants were 5-6 weeks old from clone when I put them into 3 gallon containers and into the flower room.

the flower room at this point consists of 1 4x 8 spread by 1800 watts of metal halide ( just writing that seems like a lot of light for my somewhat young plants) and 1 more 4x8 under 2 full power fluence 2i .

metal halides were roughly 20 inches off canopy while pi fluence were mounted on the ceiling a good. 3 foot plus off canopy.

and boom I thought I would be rambling.

in the 4x8 tent in 1 gallons plants were getting fed 2x daily at around 1.2 ec

I run roots gold by house and garden 1 or 2 times a week and other than that my reseirvors are such

pro tech silica ( 1 ml per gallon) first input

Botanicals CaMg ( I was at 3.5 ml but just today topped off my Res to a full 5 mls to see if that helps. I’ve had botanicals CaMg up to 6ml gal at one point last round ....maybe it’s that easy?)

flora flex base nutrients on 1/1 ratio.

ro water

When I transplanted I kept the feed the same at 1.2.
The ratio of that first Res was 1 ml silica/gal 3.5 ml CaMg/gal 1 gram v1 1 gram v2 —> 1.2-1.3 ec. My ph floats from 5.5-6.0

the room is injected with co2 800-1000ppm

my temps have been high 78-82 daytime 70-72 nighttime (Fahrenheit)

while my humidity during the day floats from 55-60 percent and night timeroughly the same.

basically 3-4 days post transplant I noticed what I thought wasapparent light stress accompanied by slow growth pale fan leaves and purple hard stiff woody stemsZ

all big problems especially in coco.

I immediately turned offfluence led and replaced that 4x8 with 2 315 watt cmh. & went to my run off for information.

also I started 1x daily watering after transplantwhichbwas a week ago then quickly ramped up to 3x daily feeds because my run off reflected hungry plants.

for example 36 hours after transplant I watered at 650 ppm to see roughly 400 ppm in my run off... soooo...... i thought increase strength and frequency.

I know I’m all over the place and if I’ve left out info please ask and overall I feel as though there’s something I’m missing.

the other day for about 3-4 hour my room was baking at 4000ppm co2( leak on my valve)

everything has just been bad and alll insight helps I REALLY can’t afford to lose this room!

thanks growers if anyone needs more photos let me know.

my plan is to let things dry down better go back to once daily feed every 24 hours and observe the rise in CaMgs effect today. I do have a dimmer for the fluence set up but won’t bring them back into the picture until plants start growing again......

Multiple threads of the same thing is not needed

I answered the 2nd one
I don’t see your reply.

read my story if you can handle the long wind and glance at thephotos.
My question is why my plants are freaked out and my best course of action to greening them up based on the enviroment nute listed etc....

if your not in coco......

The wrinkled leaves is overwatering, the curled up edges is heat stress and the purple stems is light stress like you said or also overwatering. I get that often in coco if i dont let the roots get established before I start watering everyday. They don't look that bad I've had way worse

I would give them some Epsom for the Mg they need: purple petioles and stems
I would get my pH up a bit more, say 5.7 -6.0; at a 5.5 pH you're on the ragged edge of deficiencies.
I've only messed with CO2 once, and I ended up with those papery looking leaves; you may want to be sure you're doing right by adding additional CO2, and how that correlates to your Temperatures, your feed and your lights.

I read it

Seems you pretty much explained the situation and your fix

Thus why I asked what the question was

Do what u said and see if it works
Would it make sense for plants of this size and this age to be wanting 1.6 ec on multifeed w/ co2. Seems like a lot & I feel like maybe I’m over feeding my last last cycle was at 1.2 well into the same 3 gallons. I skipped great ehitrq

i have Epsom on deck I could use but I am hesitant.

dr photon at coco for cannabis told me calcium.

co2 I understand my temps need to be up?Which they are I believe. Unsure about lights in regards to co2. Maybe you can clue me in on some things I could do better w/ my enviroment. Thank u

Awesome thank you so much for your insight!

I believe I have been over watering my coco grows for the last year to a degree.
I waste a little extra nutrients and water to play it safe is kinda how I see it. I’m trying to find a balance.

When I first thought could it be my step 2 3x feed a day so fast made for lazy transplant?

there are large roots comingout of the bottom of containers at this juncture.
For now I backed off to 1 x daily feed and upped my CaMg dropped my silica and am observing.?

I think the coco unbuffered was really stealing all my CaMg.

I predict the coco will be satisfied soon and will offer a lot more up for the ladies.

Yeah I start with 200 ppm calmag and nutes like 700ppm the first few feeds to the coco can lock up whatever it wants then I drop to 150ppm calmag and 500 nutes and slowly raise it till tips burn. People say you can't overwater but I think thats if you're watering 5x a day till roots are established. I just water every 3 or so days until roots are established and then everyday and 2x per day when they start packing on bud

Makes sense man! Thank you for the insight.

I upped my calcium and my base and things are greening up.

nervous to introducefluence again but I have dimmer!

I backed off to 1 x daily watering and the dry down is deffinately helping.
I jumped fast to the 3x to soon.

I wonder are there any patterns in your run off you look for to confirm uptake?
