Hi all i just became a member and have tonns of questions, Instead of making new threads everytime im just going to ask them here and hopefully you guys can help me. =)

Im ready to take clones from my mothers but some of them have nute burn on the leaves, Would it still be ok to take clones from her? Ill just cut off the burnt leaves?
Thanks Fellas

It should be fine, Just remember that the leaves on a clone acts as a storage of nutrients that the plant uses to grow its roots during cloning. So you want at least some healthy green matter in there.

I would flush her real good because a plant that is full of nutes is tough to clone.(nitrogen)

Go ahead and make sure she gets a good root system to grow new plant material.KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

They are all correct...Nutes can be a real M.F. for an inexperienced grower. I KNOW from personal experience. Don't forget to add a little root gel for your clones so they will root good. You have a long way to go, so check this thread out alot. Very nice folks here. Best of Luck!!

Hey guys I have another question,
I have a hugggeee carbon filter almost the size of me
And im deciding where to vent the hot air,
I have this balcony and could vent it outside or do you guys think its better to vent it to the next room?
I live in a APT so not attic =(

I would use two fans. one to vent and one attached to the filter to clean air and provide circulation. just leave can on floor and put the fan on top. this way u don't have to hang a 4 foot filter.I'm guessing ur atleast 4' something?? As to outside or next room choose which ever is safest.

id exhaust outside... if it isnt too obvious. also read around on the FAQ. spend a few hrs reading a day and youll learn so much. I went to the college of rollitup.org... havent graduated yet though. im in the summer program right now!

If you have to put your carbon filter outside do to space, you could consider covering it with an arbor or a lattice work box, painted to match your house. It woulnt be suspicious and would prolly look nice.
