help about in line duct fan

hi i not sure if some one has post this or not but i have a 1000w hps light do i really need a in line duct fan or can i just have plan old fans in there and will keep the heat down thz

How big is the room? And what are the ambient temps.

as long as your light is a foot away with fan blowing that way you should be good

its an walk in closet its 8ft by almost 4ft and it stays cooled in there dont know temp have not started yet

If there is no where for the heat to escape that 1000w lamp will turn your 8x4 walk in closet into an oven. Trust me those lights put off a ton of heat, no way you can use them in a sealed space.

I think that without an inline fan there will be too many problems. #1 heat, #2 the lights are going to have to be keep further away from the plants, etc.
