ok so here is the break down i have had many successful gurilla grows and smoked far too much weed in my life time but never untill now have i been able to attempt to grow hydroponics. (to many issues wit privacy and space.) but now a lovely lil private space has become available. Its very small and i only want to grow for myself as a hobby the space i have available is 2foot (half a meter) by 3 foot (1 meter) and 6.5 foot high. (2 meter) i know its extremely tiny but its an experiment in a cubord. Here is my ideas i am open to any input as it is my first hydroponics grow im thinking of useing the nft system unless someone advises me otherwise with a 250w hps lamp and hydroton as a grow medium the nutrients are a store bought liquid pre mix and the seeds i have available to me are all feminised hence the fact i don mind only growing one i have nyc diesel or white rhino to grow. I thinking about using nyc diesel. The regular things that cause problems 4 most(cops with infared cameras, high electricity bills. And light leaks and smell) are not an issue where i stay what is an issue is the space i have so before i start this project i would like an opinion from someone who has superior know how in the field of hydroponics to give me some pointers. Thanx much love and respect

same here, gettin ready to jump into a hydroponics system here pretty soon, just haven't got around to doing it yet.

One of the problems with small spaces is heat. That's why many growers with small spaces use flouro lighting. Also I'm not familiar with nft really, but it is a good idea for a first grow to be with a simple system like dwc. Your goal for a first grow should be how muchyou learn more than how much you yield, and the simpler the system the fewer things you have to worry about.

im not concerned in the slightest about yield weed is cheap where im from and iv know my dealers 4 almost 6 years iv never been ripped off so ya im not aiming 4 hi yield. When u say heat what is the main concern with heat? Effect on the plants? Or being detected? Cos detection is not an issue in my country. But if it is the effect on the plants i can make holes in the cubord 4 pc fans thats no problem due to the fact that it is a free standing cubord. The problem with dwc is that the nutrients have to be checked dayly like every other hydroponics system but they nutrient water is under the plant so u have to lift them out. Nft easier because of the seperate tank. But it is rather a overly elaborate system 4 what it can achieve compared to other hydroponics. Basically i just need a really simple compact hydroponics system and i also am not to sure if 250watt hps light is enough. I was thinking about flurecent but i just don think it will cut it when i want to flower it.

you cant get too much more simple than the Hempy Bucket Method. I plan on starting my first hydro grow using this so I can get used to the idea of feeding the plant with nutes vs. my typical organic soil grows, then graduating to a bubble/fogponics system. From my research (and its only research, i have little or no hydroponics experience) the fog/bubbleponics setup seem to be the best of both worlds, with the fogger making small microns of NFT and the bubbleponics making the deepwater rez of DWC, i really like the idea of a fogponics. I just have to learn the skill sets once i get this move out of the way.....

im not familiar wit the hempy bucket but i will research it. The reason i was lookin into nft was because it only requires a nutrient tank and a length of gutter so from my understanding it would be fairly compact
