I'm currenty interested in buying some seeds to do a Guerilla Grow and would like some help with the seed selection as there is so many different versions, it's quite confusing to decide.

This will be buy first time growing and have been learning each area over the past few weeks - so any extra help would be appreciated. I will be ordering from Attitude and have a £100 limit.
As this will be the first time growing, I would like some seeds which are quite easy to grow/control. Is it worth also buying some autoflowering seeds?

I want to buy feminized seeds only, so that there isn't many problems with males/seeds. Also I would like to try some (White Widow/Northern Lights). How is the '' Church/Big Budda Cheese'' ?

I'm growing in Ontario, Canada.. its now spring, still a few cool nights.. but everythings pretty good.. but i personally would suggest an Outdoor strain from Sensi Seeds.. or Sweet Purple from Paradise seeds.. Or even Magicbud from paradise seeds.. i grew some magic bud last year and its an amazing outdoor plant.. grows massive, and can handle a rough enviroment.. long story short, its easy too grow.. pleasing to watch grow:P ..lol vegetative, and especially flowering.. they yield easily 500 g's a plant.. and its amazing weed.. and outta all my magicbuds.. only 1 got a tiny bit of rotten bud on it... anyways... if u got any questions feel free to ask.. i've been growin for a few years.. so i know all the basic's.. and i guerilla grow too.. aint gotta choice..but its cool 8) ...If you want check out my "All strains for season of 09" thread.. i've got a couple pics of the magicbuds i got going this year.. i'm gonna have more of an update in a little while.. i'm gettin my video/cam back on saturday.. so sometime after then i'm gonna go check my mothers..take some pics.. and what not... but yeahh checkk it out man.... oh yeahh... do u got acam?? are you gonna do a bit of a journal?? post pics and what not??? im out laterr

I have checked the Paradse Seeds collection from the seedbank I will be ordering from and they seem to grow quite alot. Are they easy for a first timer to cope with?
Sensi Seeds are another which I think I'll buy 5 from, just need to goes through there selection.

At the moment I don't have any plans to make a journal. Today I will be going and looking for some good area's and hopefully my seed order(s) should be completed by the end of the week.
When you first started on your Guerilla Grow how many plants did you start with?

Think about getting one Stabilized Hybrid or Landrace strain with your fems.

Your paying for genetics, at least take the opportunity to keep the line.

As your growing cull the males like normal but save the best one. You can make enough seed for years of harvests in one season.

Do you think that the Paradise Seeds are easy to work with, for a new grower? I noticed that they usually grow tall, so I will need to find the correct location should I buy some.
I will look into the Sensi Seeds when I get back as I've heard alot of good things from them and will most likely add them to my order.
I'll check your grow thread(s) later once I come back from my mission 8-). Thanks for the help.

I'm not to sure what Stabilized Hybrid or Landrace Strains are, do you mean to add some male plants to get some seeds for next time?

I've checked the different price ranges for the White Widow for 5 seeds I want and there is two different brands to choose from. Which would be the best suited, as I don't know anything about the brands for there quality.

Green House Seeds White Widow Feminised - 5 Seeds £27.99

Seedsman Seeds White Widow Feminized - 5 Seeds £24.99

Stabilized Hybrids and Landraces are the types of seeds you can buy which are true breeding.

That means you can make your own seed stock and have some high quality seed forever.

Stabilized Hybrids are normal hybrids that have been worked for 20 + generations through a process of recurrent selection for homogeneous traits within the progeny.

Meaning they have been stabilized to breed true, so that when you plant some seeds they all come up looking pretty much the same.

You dont get a bunch of plants expressing sativa stretch for example.

A landrace is an inbred line that is also true breeding because over many generations in that native spot the same genes have been propagated.

An example of a Stabilized Hybrid is White widdow or Skunk.

A landrace would be Afghani or Hindu Kush.

Seed companies would love to just sell you fems seeds, that way you have to keep coming back for more.

But if you get some of your own true breeding strains you can make nearly all the special hybrids that are sold as fems.

They should'nt grow tall unless they dont recieve enough light.. i'm pretty sure for a good yield you want atleast 4-5 hours of direct sunlight.. if you dont want them growing tall you can pinch the tops.. which will sent energy into branches below making them grow more.. and you can continue this through out thier vegitative growth.. and if you dont want to pinch them.. try buying a hybrid which is just 50%Indica/50%Sativa.. or even an indica..
