How's it going fellas? Stumbled upon this forum about a week ago. Originally from CA and moved to Texas a little over a year ago. After a VERY long sober streak I met my girlfriend who NEVER touched marijuana in her life. I wasn't a douche and never pressured her into doing it and since I was running sober I could care less about a puff. One day she was ready to try it, but she'd rather try it with me than anyone else. I don't know about you guys, but it feels extremely honorable to be chosen as someone's first time high buddy 
. I could not turn it down so I bought 2g of Carribean and smoked a little bit of it. She killed my high the first time we smoked together haha! But after a while she gotten used to it.
Here's what bothered me though. When I moved here to Texas, I've had so many dealers selling me what they claimed to be "dank", but they seem mids at best. Nothing comparable of what I smoked in California... I'm deciding to grow my own for private use and maybe for a very select few friends and family. That way I know what I'll be getting. You know what they say, "You want something done right, you gotta do it yourself." I'm not new to plants and I say I have quite a green thumb myself. Of course I'm not going to start growing now due to living in an apartment with roommates. I will one day move to Colorado so I can smoke peacefully. I like to study a lot before I get into something, usually months or sometimes even a few years. I am pretty interested in growing marijuana.
