Hello New Member Here

Hello, I have been creeping this site for a few days and have gotten a lot of ideas for my home setup a big thanks to everyone who posted DIY and info. Hopefully I can ask a couple of questions to straighten myself out.

I plan on trying to setup a 1-2 unit op using DWC and diggitydank420's guide to 3 GAL DWC, Pappabears DIY Cabin and an LED light setup (debatable at this point but thats why I am here , to try and find someone using LED successfully).

LED's are something new to me but I picked up a GlowPanel for cloning and have never complained about LEDS since.

Thanks. I might go CFL after finding very little LED info to go on. I am just trying to avoid HID because I don't want to overkill the wattage on the 3ish plants I'd like to grow.

What I can flat out Grow 3 plants under 1500 blended 500 MH + 1K(+) HPS three cool tube.. Vroom Vroom...

It never ends.. You are going to find the CFL's are so much better now than 10 years ago.

10 years ago the Hardware Stores started pulling HPS outdoor lights off the shelf starting a long period of expensive grow lights IMO.

So yeah.. The LED seem to function and folks do fine with 250 watts of MH. I am a pampered Medical Gardener. If my grow box was my wife she would have a few thousand dollar diamond by now with electric bills included in the total expenditures I have made over 10 years time.

But The Jar is full and that is what counts in the end!
