they flower by age not how much light they recieve.....if you stunt them they are stunted for life......recently they have decent buds(some will tell you the smoke isn't as good but thats bullshit)......they wont yield as much as you'd like but for a first time grower they aren't bad just dont expect huge yielding plants.

in my experience with them they seem to like a 20/4 light cycle atleast the strains i grew....to be honest dude i dont post pictures on this site of my grows 1 because i dont have a decent camera and 2 because im just paranoid(yes with no real reason at times) get that picture up and we can see if its a male.....maybe someone else will chime in with how to do it

18/6 works great for LR's. I grow the LR AK47 version and I will tell you that the potency and taste are not near as good as the regular AK47. So if you think thats bullshit, then look at top strains and cup winners/runner ups etc... Doesnt have to be the cannabis cup...but any countries cup contests. I've also gotten 2 O'z dry from one LR AK47 several times and always get at least an Oz. I've probably grown over 50 LR's so far.
Having said that, Serious Seeds AK47 is some POTENT stuff and comparing LR versions is not even fair. The LR AF strains do work, and will get you high but just not up to snuff with the big girls.
