hello there guys :), i just finished my box for growing. its 50x50x80 cm and i have 1 seedling that just sprouted. i'm using 4x23w 6500K CFL's, as for ventilation 1 got 2x120mm scythe slip strean 800 rpm (pc cooler), 1 for intake and 1 for outtake, and i just hanged another 2x80mm pc coolers near the lights, but the problem it's that too much heating is building (32* C and i think it will rise if i let like that), and it's a stealth grow .
[h=2][/h]Could you please give some ideas? some tips. something. :-P

heat problems= too much light or little to no ventilation.

solution= more fans, a carbon scrubber.. more air movement

Instead of using one fan for intake and one for exhaust, perhaps try using both for exhaust and allowing the intake to be passive. Worked wonders in my tent where my 400W HPS sent the temps way too high. Having said that, my ambient temp is low so the passive intake pulls in a lot of cool air.

i will definetely try this, but i keep wondering 4 cfl's x 23w? do i really need 4? i mean what's happening if i use just 2 or something, dunno, asking

during last night the temperature gone crazy, when i just woke up the temp was 40.5* C and still rising, what can cause that temp to the plant?

Get something bether then this Scythe Slip 800rpm becouse its only 40CFM and air pressure on this is just crapy.I know i have some of them. I bouth 2x 71CFM 120mm fan, from Silenx for outtake and 1 x 60CFM for intake + 2x 60cfm one blowing in lamp ,second is mixing the air in box and its doing the job in my 65cm x 65 cm x 120cm with 150W HPS without cooltube. My temps dont go above 28 celsius. With those Scythe i was on 35 celsius.

fffff. thank you very much mipro, and i thought those were the best pc fans... i should considering buying an extractor fan, like those ones that you see in restrooms, but it's a kinda stealth operation so... :(
