ventilation

sometimes having some box fans just does not work.. You've got to bring cool air INTO the room

I have the same problem, and Ive been looking into these AC units that dont put out heat, and can keep a small room cool to about 68 f.

They cost about $120 US, you can find them at hardware stores

or there's the other alternative

Somehow direct your AC from your house to your grow room..

:peace:

Good luck!

fuckin shot in the dark here, if you need like INSTANT results, and if your rooms not TOO big

Go get you a big ass bowl, get some dry ice and set it into your grow room.

If you have a CO2 supply, turn it off. As the Dry ice sublimes into the air, it creates CO2, and also cools the room a bit. Now, you'd have to have quite a bit of dry ice tho just to cool down a simple closet grow room

just givin ya options

i just use 3 fans. if its a really hot day or just generally hot in there instead of dry ice just get a bucket or large bowl and fill it with regular ice and cold cold tap water. then face the fan directly down onto the water. (i use clip desk fans but any moveable fan will work). this will make the cool air blow throughout your room. much easier to get regular ice since dry ice requires a special trip to a store and also the water is still quite cold even after the ice melts so that you dont have to be to concerned about changing it until it becomes room temp. it also might help with the humidity issue. as putting water in the grow area typically boosts the humidity!

dry ice eh

yo i have 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide grow box ( which i made with ply wood and foil/duck tape) with a 400 watt HM and two fan blowing out to the top and i have a half a door hoping that will lower the heat and i try that ice/water and i put it infront of the fan. but its not really helpin in a long run i burn few lower leaves
so there anyway to lower the heat cuz i cant buy a/c untill 2 weeks when i get pay so there any cheap way to fix this?? can i raise the light higher? its about 55 cm above now

Its not one of those AC's bro

Its a Portable AC. they run from like 150-500...

It looks like one of those Air Ionizers... Skinny thing that stands up about 4 feet... It emits cold air for small rooms, and keeps 'em cold...

Doesnt emit heat like one of those AC's you put in a window

heres what they look like... dont mind the price, i didnt go price huntin for ya
Walmart.com: Commercial Cool by Haier Portable Air Conditioner With Remote: 7,000 BTU : Appliances

There ya go.. But thats the costly way to get results... The water and ice bucket idea sounds brilliant... It all depends on you man

Good Luck Man!

:peace:

i suggest the ice bucket idea

That sounds like the most cost efficient and best option at hand right now

So go get that bucket and ice dude!!
