Heat stress

Hi, week 8 of flowering stage. Been going thru a crazy heatwave where I live and I've struggled to keep the temp below 30-38 c.
Some of the plants have started new growth out of the buds. Some new leaf and some with stalks. Question is should I be cutting them now before it gets much worse?
I believe it's foxtailing and donkey ears but I'm struggling to find out exactly what I should do. Any info would be much appreciated!

About all you can do is try and reduce the temperature. You didn't mention the strain or whether it is 8,10,12,14 weeks...so it is really hard to answer your question. Also you could post a pick to help people answer your question as well. If it is an 8 week strain cut it down. The bud may not be very potent if it has been growing for some time in these temperatures.

It's big bud from sensei seeds. It's been flowering for 8 weeks now. I never realised the UK was gonna be battered with the heatwave! I'm using leds anyway but it's still hot. I was just worried about the new growth, I'll get some pics up tomorrow . Thanks for your help.

Says it is 50-65 days, and you are day 56 now? Depending on how it looks you would probably be ok to cut it now, sometimes heat can delay development though.

No worries about the info, didn't mean to come off sounding like a dick, just easier to help you with pics.

Yeah that's OK mate, I didn't think for a second you were being a dick haha.
Yeah I planned their execution for week today. Thanks for your help mate.
I may have to let them run on till then though as the whole operation of harvesting has to be done whilst my nosey 3 yr old is away

Right on good luck, hope the weather changes for your last week, or maybe you can pump some AC/get some fans and a Dehu in there. Not sure if you have a dehumidifier now, but watch out for bud rot if you don't with temps that high, humidity must be like 80%. You want it under 60% if possible.

Yeah tbh mate the humidity is good it's never going much over 60% and majority of the time it's in the 50s. Couldn't make it up really the weathers usually crap in England, I start a grow and it the hottest summer in 100 years hahah
