Heat problems, need advice

Ok so I just recently received my 400 hps system and stumbled across a huge problem. I wasn't fully aware of how strong this light was going to be and the temperature in my closet has slowly risen. I actually woke up today an it was over 100 degrees in there. I can see heat stress starting on the tips of the plants and I really need some help on what to do.

I grow in a closet in soil and I have no way to vent air out or anything like that. I've been trying to read up on what to do and stumbled across a few ideas. The first idea was using plexiglass as a barrier between the hps light and the plants. I guess the glass prevents some of the heat from being passed through to the plants. Another idea I'm toying with is using dry ice and just put a fan behind it to spread cold air all over.

Is there anything I can do short of buying an air conditioner for the room?
