Heat Problem?

I have a 150 HPS and a 125 CFL over two plants in my closet. I noticed the leaves on the tops of the plants curling up and yellow around all of the edges. I am keeping the HPS light about 12 inches above the plant. Should I move it higher? I do not know exactly what the temp is but it feels a little hot to me. I turned off the CFL to try and cool it down. Any suggestions what to do?

It's heat indeed ! Not light ! The room is too hot, getting lamps farther is not gonna help ! Got something there to measure the temp with ??

ohh yup ... what do you use for air circulation ?

i recommend getting a thermometer asap

get a temp gauge and a small fan

I was going to say the same as Vostok (temp gauge and a small fan ) you can't have a 150w HPS more than 12" above the plants as they will just stretch

I only have a small fan on them during the day. its in my closet at school so I don't have a lot to work with. Im trying to find a way to cool it down. Thanks for the help
