4" In Line Fan, Carbon Filter & Duct Kit - Hydroponic Grow Room Tent Ventilation

Filter: Professional Activated Carbon Filter
35 dB(A) sound level

comes with extractor fan , clips , ducting , and ofc carbon filter by buddy (bulldog)

£50

Thanks MP

get a can max air fan. always get a larger one than the one that you need and get a speed controller for it... makes it alot quieter and can move alot more air when u need it to

sounds good, are you gonna have it out the tent :)

i was thinking of just putting it inside the tent and and buy a smaller tent for veg and clones

at the moment i have 2 plants around 6 weeks old in there under the 600w

just planted a auto flower today in soil without germination

tent temp is around 37c and humidy about 35%

yeh :( would a cool tube do the trick i was looking at ebay and there like £37 and price for ducting is around £10

what would be better the carbon filter kit or the cooltube?

thanks

4" is a bit to small IMO a 6" maybe with speed control would be better for sure ..

a 5" might just do the job if your on a budget but 187M3 is not enough in my experience close to double sounds better to me..

but most important is a cool tube or even better a cool hood (better footprint) it make all the different when growing in a small place useing HID lights, not only do it make you temps drop (mine dropped about +5C after fitting a cool hood on my 600W HPS)

but it also allows you to keep it much closer and that is so important as light penetration is one of our big "enemies" growing indoors as we don't have a nice +10K Lumens sun blasting down, I can now keep it at 12-15" as before I had to keep it at +20"

you can see the different in Lumes here:

even tho Lumes is`t what the plant look for (its Par) it do give you sumthing to go for and even tho the glass in my hood do block a little (10-20%) of the light I still provide my plants with more intense light now and with perfect temps I may add :D

carbon filter would good do but the combination of both would be better seeing as your space is small, you want as much heat away from that 600 as possible ;)

filter is for odour control, nothing els, I add mine when they begin to flower/stink and if anything if make the ventilation about 20% less effective, so make sure to keep that in mind when ordering a ventilation

I would still say a 6" ventilation with speed control, a 6" carbon filter for flowering and a cool hood
or if your on a budget, a 5" ventilation/filter and a cool tube might do the job

p.s.

37C is a "bit" to much, a few more and you cook em, even 27C is a bit on the high I try to keep mine around 24C and now with the cool hood on I can mostly keep it around 24-26C beforew with out it it was more like +30C and that was with a 6" ventilation running 24/7 and a big table fan at the HPS and with a tube to a window for cool/fresh air/Co2

6 inch fan will deal with the heat issue...... Buy quality though !!!!

will do once i get Christmas out the way and new year postal all messed up this time of year

iv got a extractor fan im gonna use to suck the hot air out for now until get something better
