Heat, Heat and more flamin Heat!!!!

Had my new grow up and running now for a week. Nothing in yet just germin seeds.
Using 2 x 400 watt sputnik lights, digital lumatek ballasts, 4in intake and 5 in extraction. Extraction being pulled out with carbon on the end and then through the light fittings. Oh and in a loft.
Room is 7ft by 5ft by 5ft high so not the biggest. room is perfect temp when running one lamp, just cant get it down past 90 when i fire the other baby up.
Got exhaust running outside now as at first just left in roof space, was well toooo hot up there then. got intake drawing outside air at the mo (while it still warm enough).
really need both lights for even light distribution.
Any suggestions on cooling??????? or what else i can do?????

I would get Air Cooled Hoods. I have Sun System Hoods.
You can get "Super Sun Reflector" for less than $150 and they are great for 400 watts.

That's what I use. And a Carbon Filter. The inside of my Box is only 3-5 degrees higher than the ambient temperature, so they work really well.

You can get them at any Hydro Store or Online.

Just my $0.02

you could have your lights on at night when the temp is more cooler and it doesnt like fluctuate as much if you know what i mean

I think i have cool tube type lights. I have got these lights called sputniks, they are connected together via duckting, hoods are air tight, the far end is linked to a carbon filter and the other is a 5 inch fan sucking out the warm air. is this cool tube??
Thought about the lights on at night thing but didnt no if you could do that, may be a possibility that one
I though may be a 5lt bottle of frozen water infront of the air intake in the room, means more cooler air being thrown around???

Don't use the light ducts for carbon scrubbing. Draw your cool clean air from outside grow room and let it pass through lights and out the room. Use seperate ducting for cooling and scrubbing the grow room air. You can always install a window or wall AC or use a mobile room AC as well.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Good luck on cooling that down. Get it running and tested before exposing plants to that for a long period of time. Have you considered vegging with flouro's?

Did think about doing what you said with separate for lights and carbon but guy in the shop said would be fine this way. i have now put my little girls in there so gunna have to ride this one through no but will think about separate fan now for carbon. To be honest ive been moving the intake around the garage and seem to have a nicer flow of cooler air now. Now my problem is the humidity has gone down to 30%!!! Who ever siad this was easy!!!! haha
