heat burn on leaves need help!

right the dumbass i am put my 4 day old seedlings under a 600w hps, 9 hours later i saw that some of my leaves wer completly light brown. so i decided to pull them off because aparently the plant supplies all of its energy to the inury then the plant dies. do u rekon leaves will grow back and any advice on wot i should do?/

plz help

move your light well away from them, 600w is a touch to strong for babies, try and aim a fan at your bulb aswell, if you keep doing what your doing now you will ''MURDER'' them, can you not get a lower grade light till they get a touch stronger, if not get your light about 1-5mtr away from them for the now or they will be toast.

Have a look to see if you have ''Any New'' Growth at all at the top. you might have already went to far with them, or stick up a pic and let us see them ok.

two of my plants are growing new leaves on top but one is still struggling.heres some pics before i pulled the leaves off...i burnt my plant picture by 04aidan - Photobucket

plants are now growing more leaves and have planted 3 more seeds.
