i agree, you can keep your fan on too taking your running a HID lamp and not CFLS. heat drop is definitly good while lights are off * or while in sleep stage as i say*
as far as humidity, most people keep a meter but i dont. i just dont use my dehumidifier while in veg and while in flower i just keep it going at about 75-80% the whole time and things are looking good as far as my grow is concerned

yea ummm you dont want high humidity at all during flowering... just gonna increase the chance of mold.... humidity isnt the worst problem to have, as it isnt the biggest deal in a plant growing. If you keep your temp at the right spot and your plants are growing well, youre fine. however, if you need to increase humidity you can use a humidifier, which will keep you humidity at a pretty constant percentage. Other options are frezzing a milk jug full of water and setting it infront of you fan or fill a bucket/bowl with ice cubes and put in the tent... these both will add humidity and drop the temp slightly. another good one is laying wet rolled up towles in your grow space. If you need to lower humidity, get a dehumidifier.

I would not worry about humidity. I have the same problem at nights. The temp should not drop more than 15 degrees at night. If it does then consider turning your exaust fan off about 2 hours before night and leaving it off all night. I have done this and it worked fine just dont let it get past 85 when you do this.
Edit: you could also put the fan on a timer every 15 mins for 15 mins or something

The most essensial part of any grower's kit is a good exaust sytem that matches the strenth of the light that you are useing.Try to have at least two ossalateing fan's in a grow room one is just there to cool the light hood and bulb down.Have this one pointing directly at the light on full.The differance this can make is unreal then the secondry ossalating fan have this blowing across the top of the plants so the air from it goes straight to the exaust fan this inturn will pull the hot air out of the room.Make sure that you have all the ventilation in the top of the growroom so has the heat rise's it has somewhere to escape.Match the light to the size growroom that you are useing if the area is small then you will be better of with something like a 250 hps because the exaust fan you will need to cool this down would pull too much hot air out of the room and not leave enouth for the plants to thrive.

40-60% humidity (60 for vegging 40 for flowering is ideal imho), and temps around 75(f) daytime and 65(f) nighttime have worked very well for me.

That is somewhat strain dependent. Nevilles Haze like humidity around 60% to 80 %.
That is not all that common but there is no across the board singular answer about humidity and all strains.

the best way to do it is to look at the environment of the areas of the world the strain originally came from, if its a cross, whichever is dominant. Does it ever get cold in southern asia in the fall? I dunno but that is what u would look at to know about sativas. Indicas are north american (thats why its ez to grow in cooler temps). Afghanis however come from an area that is constanly hot. (no shit where this one comes from). I really care less about humidity unless its obseenly high. Also during budding 80% humidity can cause bud mold, im sure some are less susceptible but that hight of humidity is always a risk.

Holy fuck! I never thought i'd see you again! how longs it been? lol, 6 months? a year? what you been up to? I always mkinda wondered why you left, i figured you must of gotten into a fight w/staff and left in disgust/anger, but the hole in that theory is that you always helped everyone and all that.
